Holiday Mini Catalog Sneak Peek!

Only five more days until the new Holiday Mini Catalog goes live!!  Hopefully you've already gotten your hands on a copy of the new mini, and if so and you're like me, you've already got your wish list made out!!  I love the holidays and the Holiday Mini Catalog is one of my favorite minis of the year!  Once I get it, I can't wait to make my wish list, put in my first order, and when my order arrives, start making my holiday projects.  From Halloween projects for the kids' classmates, to Thanksgiving cards and decorations, to my annual Christmas cards, craft fair items, and last but not least my holiday decor!  Fun, fun, fun!!

This week my stamping sisters and I are giving you a little sneak peek of some of the sets and accessories from the mini!

Since I was so excited to use everything that I was able to pre-order as a demonstrator, I figured I'd better start with the first holiday coming up, Halloween.  I used the Haunted Forest A la Carte stamp and the Fright Night Designer Series Paper.  Check out my blog to see more!

Rachel decided to give us a little peak at the new Snow Burst Impressions folder for the Big Shot.  She actually used 4 new products on her card.  Check out her blog for more infomation on those products.

Debbie also designed a Halloween card this week, but hers features the new Out on a  Limb stamp set and the fabulous new silver glimmer paper.  Please visit her blog here to get all the details.

Here is Karla's card for this week, she used 2 different techniques on her card. See her blog for details on those and to find out the name of this set: http://stampinwithk.blogspot.com

I hope that our creations give you a little inspiration and help you get started on your holiday projects!  We'll have many more creations from the mini in the weeks and months ahead so make sure to stop by each Friday and say hi!!

Have a great weekend!  Jacque, Debbie, Karla and Rachel

It's that time of year again....Back to School

Although most of us would probably agree that we aren't ready for summer to come to a close, it is coming fast.  It's almost back to school time (I know some schools have even already started). This week here at Sisters in Stamping we are showcasing back to school projects.

Debbie created matching school supplies for her project this week featuring the Berry Blossom DSP.  Be sure and check out all the details on her blog here.

Jacque had the same idea, but used a different piece of the same DSP pack for this altered journal for her niece Jacie. Please visit Jacque's blog for all the information about her cute project.

Karla created a super-cute pencil holder for us this week.  You will find additional details on her blog here.

And I (Rachel) made this 12x12 scrapbook page for my annual first day of school pictures of my two boys. I used some designer series paper that looks like lined notebook paper for the backdrop.  Be sure to check out my blog to get all the details.

Thanks for checking us out again this week.  Come back next week when we will be giving you some sneak peeks of the fabulous Holiday Mini Catalog.

Until next time,
Debbie, Jacque, Karla and Rachel

Wildlife, flowers and trees... oh my!

Have you enjoyed our catalog tour so far?  Jacque came up with the great idea to go section by section through the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog.  This week we are focusing on the "All Natural" section found on pages 97 through 124.  This large section features stamp sets with images of wildlife, flowers, trees, birds, leaves and butterflies - what more could you ask for?
Jacque created this beautiful card using the Fabulous Florets set that made it from the Summer Mini Catalog into the Idea Book and Catalog.  Check out Jacque's blog for details and another view.

Here is my contribution this week... I absolutely love the Friends Never Fade stamp set found on page 107.  Please visit my blog (Debbie) for more details and to see what inspired this card.

Here is Karla's card for this week. She used Flower Fest, that set can be found on page 124 of the NEW IB&C. Check out her blog for to see the inspiration for this card here: http://Stampinwithk.blogspot.com

Rachel decided not to make a card this week.  Look at her sweet little box that would be great for any party favor.  Visit Rachel's blog for complete details on how she made it.

Thanks for stopping by this week!  We hope you have a wonderful weekend!

We're Growing Up!

Have you ever noticed that there are different sections of the catalog?  If you're a demonstrator, you probably have, but if you're a Stampin' Up! customer, you might not have.  Last week here on Sisters in Stamping, we each picked a set to showcase from the Occasions section of the catalog.  This week we're showcasing a set from the Growing Up section of the catalog.

Debbie Naylor chose to feature the "Best Friends Forever" stamp set found on page 90 for her 12 x 12 scrapbook page this week.

You can see the inspiration piece for her project as well as all the details by visiting her blog here.

Rachel also used the Best Friends Forever stamp set but on a card.  Don't you just love when we use the same set in a different way? Just more ideas for you.

For complete details on how she made this fun card, check out Rachel's blog.

I've been making a lot of baby cards lately as several of my friends are soon to have babies, so this week was no different.  I used the "Baby Bundle" set found on page 84 of the catalog.

Check out my blog (Jacque) for more details!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Make sure to come visit again next Friday when we'll be showcasing sets from the All Natural section of the catalog!

Have a fabulous weekend!

What Occasion Do You Have Coming Up?

Do you have a special occasion right around the corner?  We have some of the cutest and nicest sets to show you this week from the Occasions section of the AWESOME new Idea Book & Catalog.  There are so many special occasions we all celebrate and Stampin' Up! has us covered when we need to papercraft the perfect card, gift or scrapbook page.

We have all used different sets this week.  I'm more than sure one or two of them will inspire you to create your own special occasion card.

The above card was created by Debbie Naylor.  She used the Love & Sympathy set from the Occasions section.  These are usually cards we all need but never like to create.  For more information, head over to Debbie's blog.

Next up we have Jacque Craig's cute little baby card using the Easy Events set.  Isn't that little duck paired up with the polka dot Designer Series Paper just darling?  Want more info?  Jump over to Jacque's blog for all the details to recreate this beauty.

Here is Karla Anders' card for this week. She used the new set called It's a Wrap Occasions. The set has a special design to it, you'll have to go to Karla's blog (http://stampinwithk.blogspot.com) to get the low down.

Then we have Rachel Yurkanin's birthday card using the Patterned party set. We all know someone who has a birthday, right?  It's such a fun set and the card shows the 2011-2012 In-Colors.  Be sure to visit Rachel's blog for more information.

Thanks for stopping by this week. Come back next week when we showcase the Growing Up section of the catalog.
