Our favorite "Black and White with a Pop of Color" combinations

Twelve Year Anniversary and a Color Combo Challenge

Thanks for joining us for the celebration this week. It's hard to imagine we have been blogging together for 12 years now. We appreciate each of you that visit every week and we have a surprise for you this week. We have some blog candy to give away in celebration of our anniversary blogging together. Sunday Fun Day: Sympathy Cards

 

  Hello and Happy Sunday!!  For this week's projects we are featuring Sympathy cards. Often these are the ones that mean the most to the recipient but are the hardest to make. We wanted to inspire you with our creations so please read on to see what designs we came up with to share this week...

  Up first is Rachel Yurkanin with this clean and simple card featuring the Birch stamp set. This is one that would be very easy to duplicate and to have a few on hand for those times that they're needed.   Next we have this nautical set of cards designed by Debbie Naylor and featuring the Sailing Home stamp set. Inspiring Iris sympathy card

  Hello and Happy Friday!  Thank you so much for visiting us. We are asking that you keep Karla and Rachel and their families in your prayers as they are both dealing with family medical issues and taking a break from the blog this week.

Sympathy For Your Loss Cards

  Hand-stamped cards are always well received and there is no better way to let someone know that you're there and praying for them than with a sympathy card made with love.  This week we are sharing some inspiration for this type of card because they're always good to have on hand.

Sympathy Cards

We use cards in many ways - celebrations, illness, encouragement, and even loss.  

A sympathy card is not fun to send, but it is an opportunity to bless and encourage those who are mourning the loss of a loved one.  This week, the SIS designers offer several ideas for sympathy cards that can be used to support those in need.

Guest Designer, Cindy, created two cards for today's theme.  Both offer the same layout with slight variations - simple and lovely!  Stop by Cindy's blog here to learn more.

Debbie's designed a serene card featuring the Wild About Flowers stamp set with a sponging technique.  Hop over to her blog here to read about this project.

Jennifer used the ever faithful Lovely as a Tree stamp set with a watercolor style background.  See how this project came together by visiting Jennifer's blog here.

Karla's card uses the Rose Wonder stamp set on extra thick vanilla cardstock. She then used sponge daubers to apply color as desired.  Stop by Karla's blog here for more ideas.
