Trying out a New Technique

I enjoy new technique's especially one that looks super complicated but turn out really easy! This Technique is called Fractured or sometimes you might see it called a Faux Shutter. Let's take a look and see what the Sisters came up with!

Rachel is up first, she used a mirrored ball as her focal point. Isn't it cute? The skates come in the stamp set too. Check out her post here.

Next is Debbie with her pretty Fall Birthday card. She used a flower popped up off of the focal point with Dimensionals. Take a look at her post for more details.

Lastly here is Karla's pumpkin patch card. Love that cute little crow and the sparkly Night of Navy ribbon. Here is a quick link to her post today.

Thank-you for coming by today and make sure you come back next week for some Fancy Folding!

A Little Vellum Goes a Long Way

Welcome to another great week with the Sisters in Stamping. We're here to share some great cards that use vellum on them. Remember a little vellum can go a long way. It can really soften the look of a card and might just be the touch you are looking to add.

Our first card was made by Debbie Naylor. This is such a bright cheerful card to let a loved one know that you are thinking of them and wishing them well regardless of the topic. Hop on over to Debbie's blog for more information.

Next up, we have a beautiful card using printed vellum by Karla Anders. This is a great wedding card to give to the happy couple. Visit Karla's blog here for more details.

And finally, we have a fall thank you card by Rachel Yurkanin. The vellum over the designer series paper gives this card a very different look than if it wasn't there. Head on over to Rachel's blog for more information.

As always, we are so appreciative of you for visiting our blog.
Thank you and see you again next week.
