Friendships Matter

Welcome back, Friends!  We show our friends that we care in many ways: having an available shoulder, hugs, donuts, and of course cards and gifts.  This week we wanted to celebrate friendships and inspire you to create a project for these special loved-ones in your life.

Guest designer Cindy Blekas shares this card featuring unlikely friends.  These super cute pals are from the Bella and Friends stamp set.  Learn more by visiting Cindy's blog here.

Karla Anders created a cheerful "Thanks for being a great friend" card using flowers from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Avant Garden.  See Karla's work on her blog here.

Next up is Debbie Naylor with a beautiful sympathy card for a friend.  She used the Birthday Blooms stamp set with rich colors.  Hop over to her blog here for all the details.

Finally we have Jennifer Rawlings' card with layers of lace from the Delicate Details stamp set; available for a limited time during the Sale-a-Bration promotion.  Find out how to make this yourself by heading over to her blog here.

Thanks so much for taking time to visit!  See you again next week, and we hope you all have a safe and relaxing weekend!!

It's All About the Backgrounds

Thanks for stopping by here at Sisters in Stamping today.  We are sharing some great cards that use background stamps today. One stamp does one big job. Background stamps are great for adding that little something that may be missing from your card, especially if you do not want to add another layer of cardstock that may make your card just a bit too bulky.

Here is Debbie Naylor's card. She actually used two different background stamps on her card. Be sure to visit her blog for more details.

This is Rachel Yurkanin's card. She used the large thank you background stamp to make her thank you notecard. Head over to her blog for details.

Here Cindy Blekas, our guest designer, used the eggs from Basket Bunch to make her own background. Check out her blog for more details.

Thanks for stopping by.
