Happy Tuesday... sorry for the delay, but we were experiencing some technical difficulties! We created projects featuring new stamp sets from the catalog this week for Fabulous Friday and we hope you are inspired....
Up first is this super summery card from Karla featuring a great crab image from the You're Sublime stamp set. Please be sure to visit her blog post here to get more information about her project.
And next we have this gorgeous flower card from Rachel featuring the new Watercolor Words stamp set. Be sure to check out her blog post to see how she created the oval frame!
Last but not least is my Christmas card (is it too early??) featuring the new Every Blessing stamp set. Please hop over to my blog post to see how I achieved this effect.
Thanks so much for visiting this week! We hope you found some inspiration from designs! Please check back this Friday to see our Red, White & Blue projects in honor of the 4th of July holiday.
One of the best things of the new catalog is the new in colors. There's always a lot of anticipation while waiting to see them unveiled. The colors this year are yummy sounding. See below on the bookmark, they will be listed in name order.
First up, is Debbie's card that uses several of the colors. A very pretty card to let someone know you are thinking about them. Check out her blog here for more information.
This is Karla's card that she created for the InColor challenge. Here is a link to her blog to help you create one of your own.
The next card is made by Rachel and it uses two of the new in colors. This card is great to make a set of notecards for a teacher. Start working on them now so you are ready with back to school gifts.
Here's a bookmark Rachel made that uses all of the new in-colors. The "h" is cucumber crush, the "e" is delightful dijon, the first "l" is watermelon wonder, the second "l" is tip top taupe, and the "o" is mint macaron.
Enjoy creating with the new colors. You're going to love mixing them with all of the other great colors we have.
Happy Friday and thanks so much for visiting us here today! This week for our Fabulous Friday projects we are focusing on Father's Day cards since it is coming up on Sunday, June 21st. Masculine cards always seem to be the harder ones to make since you can't add fun bling with rhinestones or glitter. Let's see how we can inspire you with our projects this week...
First up is this great 3D card designed by Karla. You can get all the details about her card by visiting today's post. The faux alligator effect is really great for a masculine card!
And here is my creation for this week... I chose to use the Guy Greetings stamp set that carried over from the Occasions catalog. Please hop over to my blog post here to get more information about my card.
Thanks so much for visiting us today - we hope we have inspired you to go out and stamp a Father's Day card!! Have a fabulous weekend - check back next week when we share projects featuring the new In Colors...
The NEW 2-015-16 Idea Book & Catalog was released June 2 and we (the Sisters in Stamping) are so thrilled with it we want to show you more fun projects!
Debbie is up first with her card for this week's Sisters in Stamping project, she used a new InColor called Delightful Dijon and some more new things. Here is a quick link to her blog for you to go check out her post for today.
Here is Karla's card-- she used a new InColor too called Watermelon Wonder, and a new stamp set called Build a Birthday. There are some gold accents on her card, if you go to her blog you can see some up close photos.
Well, that's it for us this week. We will see you next week when we will be showing you some awesome Father's Day projects!
