A Color Renovation!

Hello and Welcome to the Sisters in Stamping!
 The New 2018-19 Idea Book & Catalog was released last month, along with the traditional 5 New InColors they did a Color Renovation to the 4 main 
Color Collections: Neutrals, Brights, Subtles and Regals.
There are 16 new or returning InColors--
Merry Merlot, Gray Granite, Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo,
 Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink,
 Mint Macaron, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Shaded Spruce, Blackberry Bliss 
The Sisters have used a few of the newly added and returning colors this week.


Debbie is up first with her beautiful flowery card. She used a new color from the Regals Collection called Shaded Spruce. Go to her blog to see her post for today.


Here is Karla's card for this week. She used one of the new Neutrals called Gray Granite, hop on over to her blog to catch up on her post.


This is Jennifer's card for the color challenge. She also used Shaded Spruce-- same as Debbie, for a totally different look. Here is a link to her card and blog post.


Next is Cindy's card, she uses 2 new colors, one that is returning Mint Macaron and a brand new color called Petal Pink. Read up on the card she posted today.


Last we have Rachel's card for today. She picked Coastal Cabana, a returning favorite! For a fun layout twist she has posted this same card in several different colors.

Silver and Gold

  Silver and gold - what do you envision when you hear these words?  Do you think of jewelry, coins, Olympic medals or even the Burl Ives song from the Rudolph movie?  We're hoping that you'll think of fabulous cards after you check out our post this week!  Cindy Blekas challenged us to feature silver or gold in our creations this week - please read on to see them and enjoy the inspiration.

Emoji Life

World Emoji Day - July 17 (1)

These cute little guys seem to be popping up everywhere in our lives.  And with their ever-growing popularity, the SIS designers couldn't pass up an opportunity to feature them in one of our Fabulous Friday posts - especially since World Emoji Day is just around the corner.  
This is going to be fun - let's get to it!


First up is Jennifer Rawlings' project.  This Wild About You! emoji conversation card is perfect your kids or sweetheart.  Take a trip over to Jennifer's blog to see just how it was made.

Inspire me, Pinterest!


  Happy Friday and welcome back!!  Have you ever encountered Stampers Block?  It's that awful feeling that comes when you just aren't feeling super-creative.  Well, thankfully there is Pinterest to the rescue to inspire us!  This week that is how we created our projects - from Pinspiration.  Please read on to see our projects and then be sure to click the links to visit our blog posts to find out what that inspiration was.



  First up is Karla Anders with her fun one-of-a-kind card featuring the new Picked for You stamp set.  Please visit her blog here to see what inspired her design.




  And next is this beautifully colored card from guest designer Cindy Blekas featuring the new Serene Garden stamp set.  You're going to be very surprised to see what inspired her, so please be sure to check out her blog post here.



  Jennifer Rawlings designed this bright and fun card featuring the Bike Ride stamp set.  She created the card based on a sketch she found on Pinterest - be sure to visit her blog post here to see that sketch.



Rachel Yurkanin designed this card using the Painted Glass stamp set and Graceful Glass Vellum. This was created based on a tapestry she found on Pinterest. Head over to her blog here to see the tapestry.
