Ornaments to Share

Hello! We are making Christmas Ornaments this week at the Sisters in Stamping blog. This has got to be my favorite holiday project, I always give Christmas Ornaments as gifts. So let's get on with the samples, eh?

Here is Debbie's sparkly ornament for this week's post. She told me that she was making these at an upcoming class, you can check it out here and get class times if you live in the area.

This is my (Karla) Christmas Ornament, I made a bunch of these for the Choir Group that went to South Dakota All-State last month. You can read about it here.

All is Calm Inspired Cards

Have you ever looked through the Stampin' Up! catalog and picked colors for a project from a sample shown? There's even more inspiration packed in that giant book of goodness, the designer series paper is a great source of inspiration. Whether you use the paper or not the colors in the pack and the designs can certainly inspire you to get crafty. This week here at Sister's in Stamping we are using the All is Calm Designer Series Specialty Paper for inspiration.

First up, we have Debbie's card. She used the paper colors for her inspiration. She didn't use one piece of the Designer Series paper on her card but look how great the card looks put together because she knew for sure that these colors worked well with each other.  Be sure to head over to her blog for more information on how she created this fun Christmas card.

Next up, we have Rachel's card. She used the colors of the paper as well as a few strips from the paper pack for her card. Just a small piece of paper can do so much for the card, plus you can make so many more cards if you use just a small amount of paper on each card. Don't forget to stop over at her blog for more information on how she created her Christmas card.

Thanks for stopping by to visit us and see the projects we have created. See you next week.

Time for Fall Ideas

September is upon us. The kick off to the busy holiday seasons. That also means crisp air, pumpkins, apples, scarecrows and more, so today we decided to share with you some Fall décor ideas for your home. Project Life by Stampin' Up!

Welcome to another challenge with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are sharing a few layouts for memory keeping using the Project Life by Stampin' Up! system. It's great to get your picture in a book with ease and minimal effort. Project Life by Stampin' Up! does just that. It's memory keeping at it's finest. Gone is the stressing over getting a whole scrapbook completed while taking everything you own out to work on the scrapbook. You need to try it to see just how easy it really is.

This is Rachel's layout using the 6"x8" book. She used pictures from our Leadership Conference in Houston this past January. Over on her blog she has pictures of each page of the layout individually and tells you more about the pages.

Debbie used the Happiness Is set along with the 12" x 12" variety pack of pocket pages to complete her project this week.  Hop on over to her blog here to check out more about it and view the individual pages.

Thanks for visiting us today. Come back next week for some back to school ideas.

We are in the ColourQ

The Sisters are participating in the ColourQ Challenge this week. Every Tuesday a new color combination is posted with a few cards from the Design Team for that blog and there is a contest of sorts for the ColourQueen title. The colors for this week are Early Espresso, Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit (the Sisters are using the New InColor Hello Honey because Starfruit has been retired) and Tempting Turquoise.

So lets show you what we came up with--

Debbie is first with her cute card. I really like her layout with this color combination, don't you? You can click here to go to her blog and read all about it.

Rachel is up next with a pretty take on water coloring her ColourQ colors, and she used Lovely as a Tree-- that set never gets old or goes out of style! Here is a link to read her post for today.

Here is my (Karla) card for this week. Along with the ColourQ Challenge I participated in another sketch challenge-- you can read up on it here.

Thank-you (as always) for stopping by and checking us out for this Fabulous Friday! Why don't you play along with us on this ColourQ Challenge?

Happy Stamping
