Something Sweet for Fabulous Friday!!

This week we are focusing on the stamp set Something Sweet for Fabulous Friday.  This stamp set can be found in the Occasions mini catalog on pages 20-21 in either a wood-mount or clear-mount option.  It also works perfectly with the 1-3/4" circle punch (#112004, $15.95) and the Sweet Treats cups (#116802, $2.95).

Are you ready to see some fabulous projects using this stamp set?  First up is a card created by Karla Anders.  She's only showing us the outside of the card... to see what she has inside you'll have to visit her blog here.

This next card is a creation of Jacque Craig.  Those jelly beans match the paper so well!  YUM  You will find all the details on her blog here.

Here is what Rachel Yurkanin came up with using this set - she and Karla must have been on the same thought pattern this week since they both used the handle and cut-out as a magnifying glass!  That worm looks so cool in the Sweet Treats cup!  You will find all the details on her blog here.

This last project is my contribution for the week.  I created a 12" x 12" scrapbook page using the gumball machine.  You will find additional details here.

We thank you for visiting us this week and hope you found some sweet inspiration!!  Don't forget that Sale-a-Bration is going on right now... your $50 order will earn you a FREE exclusive SAB item!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Fabulous Friday Inspired by Leadership

We are all back from SU! Leadership and trying to get back into the swing of things. It was a lovely time and I so enjoyed seeing my Sisters In Stamping! Our goal this week is to create projects with ideas/projects that we saw at Leadership. I have a feeling that my fellow Sisters had as much of a problem as I did trying to decide what to do. No, no, not because Leadership was boring and uneventful but because my head is chocked full of great ideas--I had a hard time picking just one!

So here is our first idea from Jacque Craig--

Jacque was inspired by one of the many demonstrations on the Main Stage. Check out Jacque's blog here!

There was a lot of HUBUB at Leadership about the textile industry and using the BigShot to cut fabric. A large area was set aside for hand made quilts, and demonstrations on how to incorporate fabric into workshops and stamp camps. Here is Debbie's inspiration--

Quite a few of  the attendees had quilted little bags like Debbie's using the BigShot, waaaay cute. Check out her blog to get the details here.

Next up is Rachel, here is her project--

Patty Bennet did an demonstration using the new BigShot milk carton die. Rachel's take on it turned out really cute. Here's a link to Rachel's blog

And lastly my (Karla Anders) project--

I think I changed my mind about 10 times before I finally decided on this project!
I posted the particulars on my blog here.

Well that's it for this week....see you next week for another Fab Friday. Thank-you for stopping by, until then

It's all about Hearts

Fabulous Friday, Again?

Welcome to another fabulous Friday here at Sisters in Stamping. This week's challenge we are focusing on the I (Heart) Hearts set and the coordinating wheel, I (Love) Love from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Just a few Valentine's Ideas to get your ideas flowing for your own heart projects you will be creating over the next few weeks.

I love (no pun intended) what Karla did for her project share this week. She used a variety of the hearts from the set to create her card. The use of non-traditional colors makes this card great for many occasions, not just Valentine's Day. Check out her blog for more information.

Debbie created a great scrapbook page for her project this week. Who couldn't use a friends scrapbook page? Another project that shows the use of hearts for times in our lives besides Valentine's Day. For more information on how Debbie created this page check out her blog.

Jacque's card is another great card. The pink and black combination is very pretty. She also used a Sale-a-bration set on her card. Rember you can get a choice of free stamps, paper pad, or a punch from the Sale-a-bration brochure for every $50 order you place. Contact your demonstrator for more information. Also, don't forget to hop on over to Jacque's blog for more information to re-create her card.

Rachel used the I (Love) Love wheel to create her card. She settled on traditional red, white and black for card creation. She also used some fun new big shot items on her card. Want more infomation? Head on over to her blog.

Thank you for stopping by for another Fabulous Friday. Be sure to come back next week for ideas using all of inspiration from Leadership.

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year and welcome to a brand new year of Sisters in Stamping.  We're glad you stopped by and hope you come back each and every week... please become a follower and don't miss out on a single post!

We're excited to share the news that Stampin' Up! is about to begin a fabulous annual promotion called Sale-a-Bration (January 5th - March 31st) during which you'll have the opportunity to earn some fun and fabulous exclusive products with a qualifying $50 order.  We're also getting ready to begin the Occasions mini catalog period - which is 40 pages of brand new products!!  And you asked for it and Stampin' Up! listened... beginning with these catalogs you'll be able to get your favorite Stampin' Up! deeply etched rubber stamps in a clear mount option... wooo hoooo!

Our new clear-mount rubber stamps are the result of extensive research with the intent to maintain the very best image quality in the stamping industry, while at the same time offering the ease-of-use and storability inherent in repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps.

The start date for both mini catalogs is January 5th, so this week we decided to offer a sneak peek into some of the exciting new accessories that you'll find in the Occasions mini.

Karla Anders starts us off with a really pretty Easter card featuring the Chocolate Bunny stamp and Eggcellent Egg decorating kit.  You'll find all the details on her blog here.

Rachel Yurkanin came up with this super-cute altered paint can.  Please visit her blog here to see which DSP she used and how she cut out those hearts!!

Jacque Craig created this awesome mini milk carton container using her Big Shot that I'm thinking is filled with m&m's.  Please see her blog here to get all the details.  What a great gift for a teacher or co-worker!!

And I came up with this handled box that holds two mini milk carton containers filled with candy - who wouldn't want to receive this for Valentine's Day, especially if a nice gift card were slipped inside it, too?!  Please be sure to visit my blog for more details and directions for creating the box here.

Thanks for stopping by today - we hope you come back again next week.  We'll all be in Phoenix for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference, but will have scheduled our post of fun Fabulous Fridy projects to share with you using the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set and matching I {Love} Love jumbo wheel so do visit us again!

Happy stamping in the New Year from Karla, Rachel, Jacque and Debbie!!
