Technique Challenge: Faux Tile

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday!
This week I wanted to try something a little bit different and challenged the designers to a fun stamping technique - Faux Tile.  The idea here is to create a background or focal point that looks like decorated tile.  Maybe something you would see in a fancy kitchen or home and garden magazine.

First up for this challenge is Debbie Naylor's Thoughts & Prayers card.  I love her color combinations - very spring inspired!  Hop over to Debbie's blog here to see just how this project came together.

For my card, I opted to create a glossy tile look.  This is one of those cards that didn't pan out exactly like I planned in the beginning, but I'm very happy with the results!  Be sure to join me on my blog here for the additional details and pictures.

Thank you so much for joining us today.  We look forward to another visit with you next week!  Be sure to bring a friend along too!

Heart Day

It's February already (where did January go?) and Valentine's Day is right around the corner. A hand made card is just what the Sisters have on deck for today's Fabulous Friday post.

First up is Cindy's sparkly "heart" card. I love the layer of vellum that she used over her heart. Here is a link to her post for today's Valentine Card.

Here is Karla's card for this week. She used some unusual colors to make her Valentine, go to her blog to check it out.

Last is Debbie's beautiful Valentine's Day card. Really like the silver foil heart that she used to layer. She has posted all of the information on how she made her card, here is the link.

Thank-you for coming by today to see what we have!

Bundle Up

Thanks for dropping in. This week we are sharing with you some great cards made from awesome bundles found in the 2018 Occasions catalog. There are so many of them, you just might NEED to have them all. The bundles are great because they put products together that make creating so nice and easy. And what's even better about purchasing a bundle is that you get to save a little too.

Karla Anders used the fun Bubble Over bundle for her cheery card. Head on over to her blog for more information.

Next up we have a beautiful card created by Debbie Naylor. This card can be used for so many occasions. Hop on over to her blog for more details.

Jennifer Rawlings used the Hold On To Hope bundle on her card.  The silver glimmer paper really shows off the delicate design of this cross.  Visit Jennifer's blog here to learn more.

Thanks for stopping by.
