Back to School

Welcome friends!
It is back to school time and we are celebrating this special season by sharing a variety of back to school projects.  These projects are perfect for gifts to students, teachers, or school administrators.

First up is Karla Ander's super cute A+ Teacher card featuring products from the new 2019-2020 Holiday Mini Catalog.  I lover her color choices and the apple slice is good enough to eat!  Be sure to check out Karla's blog for more details.

Next is Jennifer Rawlings' custom gift bag made for first day of school gifts to our favorite teachers.  This bag is made with two sheets of 12 x 12 DSP - a quick and easy project - and filled it with large library clips and chocolates.  Visit Jennifer's blog here.

Debbie Naylor created this wonderful covered notepad and post-it pad set using the Free as a Bird set and Magnolia DSP.  What teacher wouldn't love to get this gift on the first day of school?!  Hop over to Debbie's blog here to see exactly how she created this project.

Thanks for stopping by this week.  We appreciate your continued support.

Embossing Paste Friday

Welcome to our blog! For those of you who return week after week, thank-you! We focus each week on new products or techniques, this week we are looking at something that's been in the catalog for a little while now, Embossing Paste. When it first came out we all bought some wanting to try it out. But, then life happens and it gets pushed aside for other things. We decided that we needed a push to get us designing with it so we picked it for this week's Fabulous Friday theme. Let's take a look!

Karla is up first with her card, she used the Shimmery White Embossing Paste right out of the jar with a Decorative Mask. There are some close-up pictures on her blog post today.

Next is Debbie's beautiful flowery card. She used the White Embossing Paste, a re-inker and some Shimmer Paint to make her Paste match her card, clever huh? Here is a link to her post so you can read up.

Last up is Jennifer, she really thought out of the box with her card-- she used her Embossing Paste as a smeared background. You'll have to go to her blog to get more instructions.

Hopefully you can come back next week, we will be getting our Floral stamp sets out!

Beach/Lake Inspired

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday!  We can hardly believe it is August already.  It seems we just started summer and here we are nearly at the end.  Many summer destinations tend to be the beach or lake for relaxation and inspiration.  So the SIS designers decided to create projects reflecting this inspiration - let's see what they created.

First up is Karla's inspirational masculine lighthouse card.  She used the new Sailing Home stamp set.  What I thought was interesting about her card is the fact that she started with bakers twine to pick her color combination.  You'll want to stop by Karla's blog here for all the details.

Next up is Debbie's summer beach house right there on the waterfront.  Doesn't this make you wish you were there now feeling the warmth of the sun, the freshness of the ocean, and the chill from your daiquiri?  Hop on over to Debbie's blog here to learn more about her project.

Finally, here is Jennifer's card.  She also used the Sailing Home stamp set.  This is a great set for the guys, or anyone else who loves nautical designs.  The uplifting message is embellished with an anchor trinket but still remains quite masculine.  Please visit Jennifer's blog for more ideas.

Thanks again for stopping in.  We love your visits.
We hope you have a wonderful rest of your summer - we plan on taking advantage of all that we have left.  See you here again next Friday!
