Some Fun Non-Traditional Folds

Hello,

It's Friday and that means the Sisters in Stamping are back to share some great ideas with you. This week we are all about the non-traditional folds. Cards that have a unique fold that make crafting a little more fun and interesting. It's always good to switch things up once in a while and that just what a unique fold does.

This under the sea card is a double z-fold card made by Rachel Yurkanin. Be sure to head over to her blog to get more details on this non-traditional folded card.

Debbie Naylor also created a double z-fold card this week, shown here opened up, which features the Sweet Treats product suite in the Occasions catalog.  Be sure to hop over to her blog post here for more details.

Last but not least is this fun card designed by Jennifer Rawlings which features an origami folded heart created with DSP.  You can find out more information by visiting her blog post here.

Thanks so much for visiting us each and every week for Fabulous Friday!!  We'll be back next week with Mother's Day projects.  Have a fabulous weekend and happy stamping!!

Happy Friday and thanks so much for visiting with us here today!  This week we are featuring fabulous teacher gift ideas in honor of National Kindergarten Day.  Seems like it was just yesterday that all of our kiddos were in Kindergarten... and now they're all well into elementary school and beyond, with some even in college!  One thing that we can all still use is great teacher gift ideas, so here you go with some stamping inspiration....

Up first is this great memo keeper from Rachel Yurkanin.  It contains a paper tablet  - can you guess what she used to create it?  Please visit her blog post here for full details.

And here is a fun and fast gift idea from Debbie Naylor.  Be sure to hop over to her blog post here for more information.

Thanks so much for stopping by... be sure to check back next week when we share fun-fold card ideas.  Have a fabulous weekend!!

Cupcake color inspiration

Happy Sunday and thanks so much for visiting us here. Sorry for the delay getting this posted, we hope you understand!  Our theme for this week features a color combination inspired by this photo above that I found on Pinterest.  I asked everyone to create a project featuring a fun color combination of Early Espresso, Pool Party and Whisper White.

Up first is guest designer Cindy Blekas with her beautifully watercolored scooter card featuring the Mediterranean Moments stamp set.  Please be sure to check out her blog post here for all the details on this project.

Next we have Rachel Yurkanin's gorgeous lighthouse card featuring the High Tide stamp set.  Find out more about this card on her blog post here.

Last up is my birthday card featuring the Beautiful You stamp set.  Please hop over to my blog post here for more information.

As you can see, this beautiful color combination works with so many different styles and we hope you'll give it a try!  Thanks so much for visiting us here... we hope you had a blessed Easter with your families this weekend.  Please be sure to come back this Friday when we feature teacher gift ideas.  Until then, happy stamping!

Fun Easter Projects

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday here at Sisters in Stamping. This week we thought we would share some Easter ideas with you. Remember Easter is April 16 this year so you still have time to get creating. If you need some supplies there's still time to order from your demonstrator as well.

I love the way Debbie used the flower in the Butterfly Basics stamp set to create her Easter card this week.  Please hop over to her blog post here to get all the details of her project.

Really like this little bunny from the Basket Bunch stamp set and the way the Basket Builder Framelits match. Very fun! Here is the link to Cindy's blog so you

I love the bright colors Karla used in her project. Wouldn't this make a cute little gift for your favorite little one on Easter!?  Check out Karla's post for more info!
