Time to Get Ready for Fall and Halloween

Kids are back at school. The air is getting cooler. Soon the leaves will be changing and falling off the trees. That could only mean one thing, it's time to start your fall crafting. Fall and Halloween are great times to make little treats to hand out to friends, family, the little ones, and coworkers. So we are here to share some great ideas with you to get your creative juices flowing.

This is a great fall treat made by Karla Anders. Be sure to head over to her blog to see how she made those awesome tri-colored fall leaves.

Debbie designed this fun Halloween treat favor - a perfect pocket to hold all kinds of goodies for your favorite trick-or-treater.  Please hop over to her blog post here to find out more information.

Jennifer also created a fun Halloween treat this week - can you guess what yummy sweet is inside?  Be sure to check out her blog post here to get all of the details on this project.

Sympathy Cards

We use cards in many ways - celebrations, illness, encouragement, and even loss.
A sympathy card is not fun to send, but it is an opportunity to bless and encourage those who are mourning the loss of a loved one.  This week, the SIS designers offer several ideas for sympathy cards that can be used to support those in need.

Guest Designer, Cindy, created two cards for today's theme.  Both offer the same layout with slight variations - simple and lovely!  Stop by Cindy's blog here to learn more.

Debbie's designed a serene card featuring the Wild About Flowers stamp set with a sponging technique.  Hop over to her blog here to read about this project.

Jennifer used the ever faithful Lovely as a Tree stamp set with a watercolor style background.  See how this project came together by visiting Jennifer's blog here.

Karla's card uses the Rose Wonder stamp set on extra thick vanilla cardstock. She then used sponge daubers to apply color as desired.  Stop by Karla's blog here for more ideas.

Rachel also used the Rose Wonder stamp set for her sympathy card.  This set makes stamping for all of life's major events a simple task.  Click here to visit Rachel's blog and learn more.

So glad you stopped by to see what we had to share with you today.  We hope these projects help you to share light during even the toughest times.  Have a lovely weekend, and stay safe!
