Paper-Piercing Packs!

Have you seen the new Paper-Piercing Packs?  There is one in the big catalog called the Essentials, which has 3 templates that coordinate with punches, Edgelits, and Framelits,  and there is also a new one in the Holiday Collections catalog called Festive, which also has 3 templates that coordinate with the Window Frames Collection Framelits, the Holiday Ornaments Framelits, and the Labels Collection Framelits!  These sets are great and at only $7.95 for each set of three templates you can't go wrong!!

Here are some samples to inspire you with your paper-piercing projects!

First up we have Rachel's great birthday card using the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack.  After stamping the greeting, Rachel die cut it out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits, and then pierced the edges!  Check out Rachel's blog for more information!

Karla made this pretty gift bag and I bet you thought the Mambo Melon band under the flower was ribbon.  But it's actually faux ribbon.  Karla used the grid paper-piercing template to add "stitching" to her card stock.  Check out Karla's blog for a close up on this cool technique.

I also used the Essentials paper-piercing pack, but used the larger template and then cut around the piercing.  Check out my blog for a close up and more information.

Debbie used both the Festive pack for the window framelit mat and the Essentials pack for the faux stitching across the baja breeze card stock strip.  Please hop on over to her blog here to get all the details for this project.

Thanks as always for stopping by to visit.  Come back the first Friday in October (that's just next Friday, can you believe it!?!), when we'll have some Halloween candy favors to share with you!  Have a great weekend!

Get Ready to Have Wheely Good ideas

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday here at Sisters in Stamping. This week we decided to showcase  an accessory that used to be in the spotlight often but recently has taken a back seat to many other accessories, wheels.  They are great because they can make quick and easy backgrounds, wrapping paper, that extra little touch, and so many other things. When was the last time you used a wheel?  Time to take them out to get wheelin'.

First up, we have Debbie's beautiful card. She used the Very Vintage Wheel for the background of this card. She did a great job making this card "feel" vintage too. For more information, check out Debbie's blog.

Here we have Karla's card for this week. She used the Music Notes Wheel to make some music for this pretty Christmas bird to sing. Check out her blog to get directions for a new coloring technique.

Next up, we have Rachel's cute little treat holder. Doesn't it look like a little tea bag?  Bet you can guess what's inside.  For more details (and pictures) head over to Rachel's blog.

Thanks for visiting us today, hope you had a wheely great time. Come back soon.

Summer's Almost Over!

Where did the summer go?1?  September marks the ending of summer and the beginning of Autumn so this week we thought we'd share some fall projects with you!  If you haven't already, check out the new Holiday Collections Mini Catalog.  It's got so many great new sets for your fall and holiday cards and projects!

First up is Debbie's beautiful fall card!  She made a center-step card using new goodies from the Holiday Catalog.  Check out Debbie's blog for more information on how she made her card!

I used the same Autumn Accents die that Debbie did, but our cards are completely different.  I love how many different looks and styles you can get out of one product.  Check out my blog (Jacque) for more!

Rachel also used the Autumn Accents Die and look how different her card is from mine and Debbie's. Get all the details on her blog.
