Need a Christmas card idea?

If you are one of those stampers still trying to decide on what to make for your Christmas card this year, here are 4 more ideas for you. If you are a stamper that hasn't decided because you have too many ideas swirling about in your head then you are going to be even more confused after today's posting. Sorry!

The challenge for the sisters this week was to create a Christmas card. I love the variety of cards that each sister shared this week.

Our first card below was shared by Debbie Naylor.  She used the ever popular dasher stamp set and the can't live without top note die. Be sure to check out her blog for more information to recreate this stunning card.

Our next card is brought to you by Jacque Craig. She used the adorable build a bear dies to create this cute Santa bear card.  A great card for any child in your life or to give to an adult in your child's life.  Remember to check out her blog to get all the details.

Look at the Santa card below!  Isn't it so creative?  Karla Anders shared this card with us this week. I think it's great how she thought "outside the box" to create this card. If you want more details you need to click on over to Karla's blog for all the details.

The card below is share by Rachel Yurkanin. It showcases the Dasher stamp that Debbie used in her card above but look how different it looks using different colors and stamping techniques. Check out her blog for more information about re-creating this card.

We all hope you enjoy this week's cards. Remember to check out the links to everyone's blogs for more information on each of these cards.  Remember to check back next week when we focus on tags. Something we can each use with the upcoming Holidays.  Have a great week and thank you for visiting.

And guess who else used the Petal Party kit this week... Karla Anders.  What a great memo board - be sure and check out all the details on her blog here to see how she created it.  Suffice it to say that this project is "green" and not only because of the color of the DSP!!

Serene Snowflakes Abound

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday at the Sisters in Stamping Blog. We are kicking off several weeks of Christmas ideas which use specific stamp sets.  This week our challenge was to use the Serene Snowflakes stamp set found in the mini catalog. Wait 'till you see what the sisters created this week.

Our very own Karla Anders created this beauty. She used shrink plastic and the large snowflake to create the cutest set of earrings. Of course, she finished this great gift idea off with a quick and easy 3x3 note card to attach to the gift. Be sure to check out her BLOG for more information.

Debbie Naylor used the stamp set in yet another gift idea. She stamped the snowflakes on a candle and even completed the candle by putting some bling on the large snowflakes. She also made a cute 3x3 card to accompany the gift. Remember to check out Debbie's BLOG for more information on how to recreate the candle for your own gift giving this holiday season.

Jacque Craig made this adorable tag tote box with matching tags made from the 2 tags big shot die. Yet another great gift idea for the upcoming holidays. The colors she used make the project look very elegant. Want more information? Check out Jacque's BLOG for more details.

And last but not least, here is a card shared by Rachel Yurkanin. This is a great card that is easy to duplicate if you need to make many cards during the holidays. Be sure to check out Rache's BLOG for more information.

Thank you for checking in with us this week. Hope you enjoy the projects and remember to check back next Friday for even more great Holiday ideas.

My Digital Studio is Fabulous... especially on Friday!

If you haven't yet heard the news, Stampin' Up! released a FANTASTIC digital scrapbooking software package this month called My Digital Studio (MDS).  Priced at just $79.95 it is a fabulous deal!  Creativity goes digital with My Digital Studio! Use the same great artwork, colors, and accessory images found in our current product lines to create personalized cards, photo albums, scrapbooks, and other projects. Once you've created your personalized gift or heirloom, have it printed in our high-quality print facility and delivered to your door; or you can print your creation at home.

This fabulous software-based design studio is the focus of our Fabulous Friday projects this week.

My contribution this week is the new blog banner seen above.  I started with a blank canvas and used elements from the Happy BDay design kit to create it.  You will find more details on my blog here.

Karla Anders created this great magnet with a calendar.  Check out the details on her blog here.

And how about this card from Rachel Yurkanin?  How cute!  Her blog can be seen here.

This is our final contribution for the week from Jacque Craig.  She created a scrapbook of her 50th birthday celebration.  What you see here is her album cover, isn't her niece precious?!  You will find more on her blog here.

As you can see by the 4 different projects featured here, there are a lot of different things you can do with My Digital Studio.  I hope you are inspired to create something if you already own this fabulous software, or are tempted to make a purchase.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you come back again next week.  We will be focusing on Christmas stamp sets during the month of November.  I can't wait to see what my Sisters come up with!!!

To Texturize, or not To Texturize?

Happy Fabulous Friday!  As easy as it is to texturize, and get fabulous results, I'd say To Texturize!!

This week my Stamping Sisters and I are focusing on another Big Shot product, the wonderful Texturz Plates.

Here is Debbie's creation.

Debbie created a beautiful 6 x 6 fall scrapbook page.  She texturized some card stock, then cut it out with the Leaves #2 die.  She then covered the leaves in VersaMark, sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder and heated for a beautiful glossy look.  Check Debbie's blog for more information.

Karla created this darling card using the Perfect Details texturz plate.  After running her Chocolate Chip card stock through, she used the direct to paper technique with the Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin' Pad to get additional depth and texture to her tree!  Head over to Karla's blog for more!

I love using the texturz plates and am always pulling them out to look at them when I'm designing.  I created this little tool that has all of the texturz plates textures so I can easily see them all.  And seeing them used on card stock it is much easier to envision how they will look on my project versus looking at a plate!  Head on over to my blog for more!

Rachel created this cute little pillow box by using the polka dot texture plate to add some extra dimension to the container. She continued the polka dot look onto the scallop circle punch by adding white gel pen dots to it. Check out her blog for more information.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and don't forget to visit us next Friday when we will be featuring the new My Digital Studio software!!  Jacque, Debbie, Karla, and Rachel.

Fabo Friday

Hello and welcome to another Fab Friday! The weeks are just flying are'nt they? This week we are focusing on Embosslits for the BigShot. These chemically etched dies cut and emboss the card stock in one motion.

Here is Debbie Naylor's submisson:

Debbie made this cute card using the Embosslit Lil' Paws for a baby shower she's going to.
See her web site for more info and a list of SU! supplies she used here.

Jacque Craig titled her bag "Merry." She used the new SU! Embosslit Merry and Designer Series Paper named Holiday Lounge. Love the fun retro colors! Check out all of the info at Jacque's blog here.

Rachel made a desk set with the Embosslit Flower Burst--which by the way is one of the Deals of the Week. Rachel has all the info for making this project on her web site here.

And here is my card this week. I used the same Embosslit as Debbie, Lil' Paws. Just can't get enough of that cute little guy! See my blog for a list of supplies here.
Make sure to stop and take a look see at the other sister's blogs. Leave a comment to let us know what you think. Embosslitly yours, Karla Anders c(:

Happy Fabulous Friday

It's Friday again and that means time for another Fabulous Friday posting from the Sisters in Stamping.  This week's product challenge was to use one of the Bigz dies for the Big Shot somewhere on your project.

I love the big flower. Karla Anders used a fun technique using a coffee filter to create this bright card. Can you figure out how she did it? Need more directions? Head over to Karla's blog to find out exactly how she tye-died this card. Click here for her blog.

Next is a great decoration addition for any home, office or classroom. Debbie Naylor created this BOO banner by using the Scallop Square die, the Serif Essentials alphabet and the Scallop Circle. Check out Debbie's blog for more information to create this project. Click here.

Jacque Craig brings us the next project. She used the Tulipe die and a Chocolate Decor Elements sheet to create a one of a kind mirror. The picture is a close up of the mirror. Head on over to Jacque's blog to see a picture of the full mirror and to get more information on how to create your own decor element pieces. Click Here.

Rachel Yurkanin created a frame similar to one shown in the Idea Book and Catalog. Instead of using a stamp set with a butterfly she used the Beautiful Butterflies die and the Lattice die to frame it off. Head on over to Rachel's blog to get more information. Click Here.

Thank you for visiting the Sisters in Stamping. Remember to check back next Friday to see more great ideas.

Jacque Craig also used the Three Tier pop-up cake die for her fun project this week - just in time for Halloween!  The first photo shows the project closed and the second one shows the box opened up - I'm amazed at all the bats that she cut out and what a clever way to present a gift card!  You will find all the details on her blog here - be sure and check it out!

And this is the project shared by Karla Anders, another way to use the Three Tier pop-up cake die for a Halloween project.  I love how she changed the order of the cake layers to create this fun pumpkin!!  Be sure and visit her blog here to get all the details!

Last but not least is my contribution this week - I ended up being the only one to use a different pop-up die - Jacque and I did have similar ideas, though!!  My scrapbook box features the O Christmas Tree pop-up die found in the Holiday Mini catalog and you will find all the details plus more pictures on my blog here.

Thank you so much for checking in this week to view our Fabulous Friday projects!  We hope you like what you see and are inspired to use and purchase the Big Shot pop-up dies - they really are a lot of fun!  Please leave us a comment and become a follower so we know you are enjoying what you see each week!  Next week Rachel is your host and we'll be featuring the Bigz dies for the Big Shot... be sure and come back for more inspiration!!
