Last Chance

It is the LAST CHANCE to purchase from the current Occasions and Annual catalogs.
Sales end June 3rd!

There are so many wonderful things in these catalogs, and the SIS designers are sharing a few of our favorite things that you don't want to miss.  Be sure to connect with your Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator to get your last chance products right away.

Karla is sharing this beautiful card featuring the Forever Lovely suite in the Occasions catalog.  Her color combination is lovely, which was obviously inspired by the colorful flowers in the DSP.

Here is another project from Karla.  This one is an adorable gift box.  This project uses a combination of products in both catalogs.  Be sure to check out Karla's blog for more information.

Debbie's project makes us wish for more!  This is a stunning card, simple and vibrant.  Hop on over to Debbie's blog here for all the details.

And last up is Jennifer's summer card featuring one of the hostess sets in the Annual catalog.  Hostess stamp sets can only be earned, not purchased, and are only available during the catalog sales period.  These never carry over into the next year...better get yours before it's too late!

Thank you so much for spending some time with us today.  We hope that you have either gotten everything on your wish list already, or this post inspired you to reach out to your Demonstrator to place that last chance order!  Have a blessed weekend and we will see you back here next week!

First up today is our returning guest designer, Cindy Blekas.  She used the retiring Flying Home stamp set.  Take a closer look on her blog here.

Debbie Naylor is getting quite skilled with her coloring techniques!  Today she submitted this fabulous bird-day card using the Bird Banter stamp set.  Hop over to her blog for all the details.

Next up is Jennifer Rawlings with her no-stamping "21" balloon card.  Visit her blog here to find out which retiring Occasions products she used in her project.

Karla Anders also used the Flying Home stamp set on her card - what a great set!  I love how she used the wood-grain background on this card to really tie everything together.

Saying good-bye to some of our favorite stamp sets

Happy Friday and thank you for visiting us today!  This week we decided to feature some of our favorite retiring stamp sets in our projects to give them one last hurrah before they say good-bye on June 3rd.  If you haven't seen the retiring product list (some accessories are 25%, 40% and 60% off!), you can view it HERE.  Be sure and place an order with your demonstrator to get the preferred pricing before they're gone!!

First up is my thank you card featuring the Day of Gratitude stamp set.  I've been making so many cards with spring flowers lately that it was nice to use a fall color palette for a change.  For all the details on this project including which technique I used, please visit my blog here.

  Next we have Karla's project...

She made a sour cream container with that cute stamp set Aviary. Directions and more pictures can be seen on her blog.

Rachel was called in to sub at school today so will be dropping her project in later this afternoon so be sure and check back! (Thanks for being patient with me today everyone).  Here is the promised project.  I used the Aviary set. I love it and am sad that it is going.  Also, the elegant lines embossing folder and that is retiring.  Head over to my blog for more information.

Thanks so much for visiting with us this week!  We thank you for your continued support of our blog and hope we have inspired you.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Retiring Stamp sets for Fabulous Friday

It happens every year....Stampin' Up! goes through the current catalog and retires about a 1/3 of the stamp sets and accessories. This year it seems early for this to be happening huh? Well, that's because the new catalog is coming out a month earlier than it has in the past. Just one of the many exciting changes that are happening at SU!
The retirement stamp set list was posted last week and the accessory retirement list was posted this week. It's my (Karla) week to pick the theme here at the Sisters in Stamping and I picked Retiring Stamp sets and Accessories. First up is Debbie--

Debbie used 2 things on her scrap book page that are leaving the catalog. Can you spot them?? Find out if your right by going to Debbie's blog.

Here is my card for this week--

I have posted a picture on my blog with the book mark out of the slit that I cut in the front.

Next up is Jacque's card--
A fun Birthday card using a retiring Hostess stamp set. She used 2 things that are retiring too! Find out all of the details on Jacque's blog.

Lastly we have Rachel's card--

Rachel used a retiring set and a set from the Occasions Mini. Last day to order from that is Monday April 30, 2012. Here is a link to her blog so you can go over and check it out.

Well that's it for the Sisters this week. Remember that the last day to purchase retiring sets is May 31, 2012--earlier than in the past years-- so put your wish list together and contact you Stampin' Up! demonstrator today!

Here is my card this week--

I used Eastern Blooms stamp set and did this "fancy fold" for a special reason. Check out my blog to get the low down here: http://stampinwithk.blogspot.com/

Rachel is up next---

She used the Petal Pizzazz stamp set. Lots of layers and texture happening on her card. Check out her blog for more information on her card.

The new catalog will be released on July 1 and there have been some fantastic changes, contact your Demonstrator to get the scoop and find out how you can get a copy of this beautiful catalog for yourself! We will be showcasing some new sets next week--
