Time to Get Punchy

Time for another great Sisters in Stamping Fabulous Friday blog post and this time we are ready to get punchy. Nothing too crazy, just using punches on a card. Punches are great because they allow quick and easy cutting leaving you more time to stamp and create.

Debbie made this beautiful card for all your cat friends. Such a pretty card that is sure to be loved by any cat parent. Be sure to check out her blog for more information on her card.

Next up, we have this fun card by Rachel Yurkanin. She used a few different punches to make this card. You will need to check out her blog for more details. You're not going to want to miss it.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to stop again next Friday.

Summer Mini Catalog - Last Month!

Where does the time go?!?  It seems like the Summer Mini Catalog just came out and now it's almost time for us to retire it and move on to the Holiday Mini Catalog!!!  Before we let it go though, we wanted to showcase some of our favorite products from this catalog!

One of my favorite sets in the Summer Mini is the Hostess Level 2 set, Punched Posies.  I like adding layers to my cards, but don't especially like cutting things out, so I love the fact that almost every stamp in this set has a matching punch!  Check out my blog for a list of the supplies I used to make this card.

Debbie made a cute tea bag holder card using the greeting set Favorite Thoughts and the scallop envelope bigz die.  Check out Debbie's blog for details on how to make this great card!

Rachel made these cute little favor boxes and the Island Floral die for the big shot.  These are quick, easy favors that give a lot of punch. Great for the end of the year summer BBQ.  Check out Rachel's blog for more details on how to re-create them for yourself.

Karla's card uses a really cool technique with the stamp set Watercolor Trio. Check out her blog for more details and information on the stamper who came up with it: http://stampinwithk.blogspot.com/

Thanks for stopping by and please check back with us next Friday when we will be showcasing the exclusive Stampin' Up! Build-A-Bear workshop products!  Have a great weekend!

Our first project was created by Jacque Craig.  Wondering how Jacque got a butterfly out of an all-flower set?  You will find all the details on her blog here about this fun birthday card.

Karla Anders also submitted a card this week... it is so elegant, don't you think?  And you'll see she also came up with a clever way to get a butterfly!  I wonder how she got a partial texture on her card?  You will find all the details about it here on her blog.

This project was created by Rachel Yurkanin. It's a bright, cheerful Get Well Card? Who wouldn't cheer up and feel even a little bit better after receiving this card.  Full details can be found on her blog here.

This last submission is mine.  I created a set of cards with a matching gift bag to hold them all.  Please visit my blog here to see the cards inside and get all the details.

Let's Get Punchy

This week here at Sisters in Stamping we decided the focus should be on the awesome new punches in the Occasions mini catalog. Don't have your copy yet? Contact your demonstrator today.

Debbie Naylor created the cute love note card box above. She used the new extra large fancy flower (#118073  $15.95) for the accent piece on the box and for the focal point on the note card. Hop on over to Debbie's blog for more information on how she made the box and cards.

The above bird card was created by Jacque Craig. It's such a pretty, delicate card. She used the Extra large Two-Step bird punch (#117191     $15.95) to create the main image on the card. Using designer paper with this punch let's you create some really great cards with minimal effort. Check out Jacque's blog for more information about the card.

Karla Anders created the above beauty. She also used the Extra Large Two-Step bird punch (#117191   $15.95). She also used the Medium Jewelry Tag punch (#117190   $10.95) to stamp a greeting for her card. Be sure to click on over to Karla's blog to see what she used to create the bling on her card and to get the rest of the details.

I created the above card using the Scallop Trim Corner Punch (#118870  $9.95) and the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch (#118073   $15.95).  I also used the Scallop Trim Border Punch which is one of the items you may choose for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration.  Head on over to my blog to get all of the details on how to re-create this card.

Thanks for stopping by today. We really appreciate when you do.

Keep Stamping,
