Awesome Big Shot Accessories

Fabulous Friday! Woohoo!  It's that time of the week again and this week here at the Sisters in Stamping we are ready to share with you some great projects using big shot accessories found in the Occasions catalog. There's plenty of great new dies and embossing folders you will find there so if you haven't checked it out yet, you will want t get on that one right away.

First up, we have Debbie's great little purse that uses several new big shot items. She just couldn't help herself. These darling purses are great to put a little gift in or to use as party favors. Be sure to check out Debbie's blog for more information.

Here is Karla's card for this week, she used the Bundle from the Occasions Mini (framelits and stamp set) and an Embossing folder. You can click here to go to her blog and read all about it.

Next, we have Rachel's card. She made a soccer ball using a new thinlit. She also snuck in the embossing folder from Sale-a-bration. Head over to Rachel's blog for more information on how she made her card.

Reinkers are fabulous, too!

Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by today!  This week for our Fabulous Friday projects we want to share with you different ways to use reinkers/ink refills... not only are they a necessity for keeping your ink pads nice and juicy, but they can be used in a variety of stamping techniques!!  Plus at just $2.95, they're inexpensive and so versatile!  It's a good habit to get into to purchase a reinker at the same time you buy an ink pad... that way you have it when you need it.  And did you know that you can use your Stampin' Up! ink refills to reink your markers?  Just pull out the brush tip carefully and put a few drops down in the barrel of your marker. Replace the tip and store your marker horizontally so the ink can settle between the fine point and brush tip.  Easy, right?!  And now on to our projects...

Up first is our guest designer (and my talented sister in real life) Cindy Blekas.  She created these stunning cards using reinkers and water to create the backgrounds.  Please check out her blog here to find out exactly how she did it.

And here is my card featuring the Reinker Background technique.  Like Cindy, I used my reinkers to create a background for my card, but instead of using water my technique features rubbing alcohol.  Please hop over to my blog here to find out how quick and easy this technique is.

We hope we have given you some fun ideas for using reinkers and that you'll add some to your next order.  You'll be glad you did, especially when you need them for your ink pads, markers and to try these great techniques.  Have a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by each week!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. We decided to make some extra special valentine's to share with each and every one of you. We love that you follow our blog each and every week and keep coming back.

First up, we have a great pop-up box card made by Debbie. This will certainly tell someone that you will "owl"ways love them. Head over to her blog for more details on this great card.

And next, we have Rachel's special valentine made up of many different sized hearts. Be sure to go over to Rachel's blog for complete details of how she made this valentine.

Fabulous Stampin' Up! Scrapbook Layouts

Happy Friday and thank you for visiting us today!  This week for Fabulous Friday we are featuring scrapbook layouts... it's always great to be able to get your photos onto a page rather than have them living on your smart phone or computer, isn't it?!  And when you can use all the fabulous Stampin' Up! stamps, papers, inks, tools and embellishments that you already have in your craft stash it's all the better.  The very fact that it all coordinates across the many product lines is fabulous indeed!  Ready to get inspired?

And here is the creative layout designed by Karla Anders.  Check out what products Karla used on her blog here.

And last up is my "Love" page... I fell in love with the gorgeous Venetian Romance designer paper pack and created a page with a nontraditional color scheme.  Please visit my blog here to find out more about my project.

We hope we have inspired you with our scrapbook layouts this week!  It's never too late to get started scrapbooking your photos.  And it's easy to do with your fabulous Stampin' Up! stash.  Why not capture your memories and make a page or two this weekend?  Your family will be glad you did!!  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
