Sunday Fun Day Boxing Day

Thanks for stopping by to see what we have in store for you today. We think you will like it. It's a little different than what we usually do. We often share cards with you, but today we are sharing boxes.

This is Debbie Naylor's Christmas box. Does she have chocolates inside? You'll just have to visit her blog to find out. She is also giving you a bit of a sneak peek with her box.

This is Rachel Yurkanin's box of pretty flowers. She let the designer series paper do all the work for her. What do you think is inside her box? Head on over to her blog to see.

Karla Anders is taking this week off. She'll be back next week.

Thanks for stopping in to see what we have to share.

Sunday Fun Day: Sympathy Cards

Hello and Happy Sunday!!  For this week's projects we are featuring Sympathy cards. Often these are the ones that mean the most to the recipient but are the hardest to make. We wanted to inspire you with our creations so please read on to see what designs we came up with to share this week...

Up first is Rachel Yurkanin with this clean and simple card featuring the Birch stamp set. This is one that would be very easy to duplicate and to have a few on hand for those times that they're needed. And with the Thinking of You sentiment, these would be a great pick-me-up card that could be sent to anyone.  Please visit Rachel's blog here for more details about her project.

Next we have this nautical set of cards designed by Debbie Naylor and featuring the Sailing Home stamp set. Sympathy sets don't always have to say "I'm Sorry for your Loss" and this is a good example of that.   Be sure to hop over to Debbie' blog post here for more information about her card set.

Our last design for today is from Karla Anders, who like Rachel, used large background stamp sets for her beautiful card. These are Daisy Garden and Many Happenings. For more details about her project, please check out Karla's blog post here.

Thanks so much for visiting with us this week!  We hope we have inspired you to make some sympathy cards.  Have a fabulous week and please check back next weekend when we share Boxes, Boxes and More Boxes!!

Let's Hear it for the Red, White, & Blue

Happy 4th of July to our friends.  We hope everyone enjoys their Independence Day with friends and family safely. This week here at Sisters in Stamping we are sharing some great projects using the Red, White, & Blue as our theme.

First up we have this great card made by Debbie Naylor. Are they flowers on the card or are they fireworks? Suppose it depends on how you are looking at them. Be sure to hop on over to Debbie's blog for more details.

Another great card by Karla Anders. It's a great, simple card with a big statement. Great use of the dies to get a layered, multi-colored star.  Head on over to her blog for more details on her card.

And lastly, we have Rachel Yurkanin's project. She decided to go a little different route with the Red, White, & Blue theme and made a little treat. More details on her blog, head over there to see them.

Thanks for stopping by. We always appreciate the support.  Have a safe Independence Day.
