Petal Cone Die: Is it a box, a card, or something else?

Hello Stamping friends,

This week here at Sisters in Stamping we are focusing on the petal cone die that can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  When you look at it in the catalog it looks like it's just a box but look deeper or at a different angle and see what you come up with.  The sisters did a great job at using the petal cone die in different ways to show you how great this die really is.  Isn't it fabulous when you get one thing but can turn it into so many different ideas easily?

First up we have Debbie Naylor's scrapbook page.  Debbie used the die as a pocket on her 12 x 12 page.  Jump over to Debbie's blog to get more information on how she did it.

Then we have Jacque Craig's creative gift card holder.  Very clever!  You will want to head over to her blog to get complete details on her project.

Onto Karla Anders' project. She used some of the components of the Petal Cone Die as embellishments for her card. Head over to her blog for more information.

And finally we have Rachel Yurkanin's creation.  Obviously Rachel and Jacque were thinking along the same lines.  Rachel's is a card though.  Be sure to visit her blog for more information.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you have been inspired to try your hand creating with the Petal Cone die while thinking outside the box.

New Build a Cupcake Punch in Occasions Mini

Hello and welcome! The Sisters are creating with the new Build a Cupcake Punch (pg.22, #121807) from the Occasions Mini catalog this week. This cute, cute punch has a matching stamp set, Create a Cupcake (pg.22, #121915) and is right on trend with paper crafting. Cupcakes are HOT all the time, not just when they come out of the oven! OK, done with the silly puns, let's see some craftiness!

Up first is Jacque--

All of the information for Jacque's card can be found on her blog: http://stampinwithjacque.com/

Debbie came up with a clever twist on her card, here is a link to her blog: http://unfrogettablestamping.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/02/a-twist-on-the-fabulous-cupcake-punch.html

Rachel's card is next in line--

Lastly, my (Karla's) card--

Cupcaky Ice Cream? A little out of the box I know but, I think it turned out really cute! Find out how to make some of your own Cupcaky Ice Cream on my blog: http://stampinwithk.blogspot.com/

Well there you have this week's Fabulous Friday Post. Building Cupcakes and not even a moment spent in the kitchen-- gotta love that!

Simply Adorned!

This week we're showcasing Stampin' Up!'s Simply Adorned jewelry line!  I love this jewelry line because as you'll see below, each piece is a work of art.  You design the piece to be what you want!  And you can create inserts for the charms to match every outfit, every season, and every holiday!  The jewelry is only limited by your own imagination!

Check out my blog to see what is on the reverse side of this charm!

This is Rachel's initial charm.  Head over to her blog to get all the details.

Debbie created this fun Valentine's owl charm.  Be sure to check out her blog for more details and to view an additional sample of a beautiful insert that we made at Leadership last month.

Karla will be taking this week off.  She will be back with us next week.

Thanks for coming to visit, and hopefully we've inspired you to try out the Simply Adorned line if you haven't already!

Have a great weekend, Jacque, Rachel, Debbie and Karla!
