TGIFF or Thank Goodness it's Fabulous Friday!!

Hi, it's Jacque here today hosting our fourth Fabulous Friday!  My fabulous stamping sisters and I have some Shimmer Paint projects for you today!!  The Shimmer Paint is a new product and can be found like our other spotlighted products this month, in our oh-so-wonderful Holiday Mini Catalog!!  I go crazy when Stampin' Up! gives us so many great new products all at once as I just want to lock myself away for weeks to play with all my fun new sets and accessories!  But alas, so many great products...so little time, so I have to be happy with playing for hours versus weeks!

Here is Rachel's Shimmer Paint project. I beautiful holiday card that is easy to duplicate and I'm sure would be loved by many people on your Christmas card list!  Rachel also used the darling Berry Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Mini.  Check out Rachel's blog to see more great projects like this one.

Karla created a great Halloween project for us using the House of Haunts stamp set, and since I own that one I'll be using this cute idea for some little goodie for my niece's K5 class! And if you haven't tried those chocolate eye balls, they're to die for! Check out Karla's blog for details on exactly how she used the shimmer paint!

I used the Frost White Shimmer Paint and the Kind Thoughts Brocade decor stencil to make a shimmery thank you card! I also used a Circle Ice Rhinestone brad as I love bling and use our rhinestones whenever I get a chance!  Check my blog to learn how I used the stencil and shimmer paint together!

Debbie created a spooky Halloween scrapbook page for us!  That skeleton head is so spooky cool in the Shimmer Paint!  What a great page for the kids trick-or-treating photos!  Check out Debbie's blog to learn how she created a shimmer mist and how best to use it!

We hope that you have been enjoying our Holiday Mini Catalog projects.  Leave us a comment if you have a chance, and don't forget to stop by (or subscribe to our blog so you don't forget) next Friday, when we will be showcasing our fabulous and fun pop-up dies!  Have a great weekend!  Jacque, Rachel, Karla and Debbie!

Another Fabulous Friday

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday. We hope you have truly enjoyed last weeks projects and that they have inspired you to create your own Build a Bear projects. We would love to hear what you are making with the Build a Bear line.

This week we decided to focus on the Delightful Decorations stamp set from the Holiday mini and the coordinating products: Ornament punch, Sparkle & Shine jumbo wheel and the Merry & Bright Rub-ons.  Be sure to check out each design team members personal blog for more information about each project.

The above project is being shared by Debbie Naylor. She created this adorable gift tag and notecard set that all fits inside the cute little purse. Her use of non-traditional Christmas colors makes this gift set really fun. Go to her blog  to read more on how she created this set.

This sophisticated looking second project was created by Jacque Craig. She created a note card and tag holder using the Box # 2 from the big shot. The tags were made by using the 2 tags big shot die . You can find more information on how Jacque created this project on her blog.

The above card was created by our very own Karla Anders. Look at the bling on the ornaments. It really adds a lot of beauty to an already pretty card that is certainly easy to reproduce for your own Christmas cards. More details on this project can be found on her blog. There is a surprise on the inside so you will have to visit her blog to see that.

This final project is another version of a tag pouch. Funny thing is none of us talked to each other regarding what we were making. Guess, great minds think alike.  Rachel Yurkanin created this project using a 6x6 page protector. Visit her blog here for more details on how she made this festive tag holder gift. Look how different each project is by using different colors. The possibilities are endless. Have fun creating.

Remember to check back next Friday when we focus on the treat cups also found in the mini catalog.

Welcome to our first Fab Friday!!!

Welcome to our first Fab Friday! Each week we'll show you projects we've created which feature a specific Stampin' Up! product. The whole month of September we're concentrating on the fabulous new Holiday Mini catalog that just debuted on September 1st. Have you looked at one yet? I think it is the BEST mini catalog that Stampin' Up! has ever put out... at least in the 5 years that I've been a demonstrator - it is FULL of so many great products!  If you didn't receive one, here is a link that you can click to take you to it:  2009 Holiday Mini catalog   It is in effect through January 4th so you have plenty of time to get EVERYTHING on your wish list!!

Something completely new in this catalog is the partnership that Stampin' Up! created with Build-a-Bear Workshop. We've got exclusive stamp sets, designer papers and brand new Big Shot dies! And that is what we are featuring here this week - the Build-a-Bear Workshop line.

Karla Anders submitted this super-cute 3-D project... it is an altered tissue box.  I just love the color combination!  Please check out her blog for full details here.

Here is what Jacque Craig created for us this week - a really cute purse that holds 2 bear magnets with their clothes and accessories... reminds me of the paper dolls from days past!  Check out the details on her blog here.

Rachel Yurkanin designed this awesome card using the Build-a-Bear Workshop Big Shot dies.  How cute!  The colors just POP!  Be sure and check out her blog for more details here.

And here is what I came up with - a 12" x 12" scrapbook page, a backpack tag and a birthday card.  These are projects for my upcoming Mom and Me class.  You can find more details on my blog here.

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you like what you see, please be sure to leave a comment letting us know that you were here. Also, be sure to become a follower, subscribe through a reader or bookmark our site so you don’t miss out on any of the fun projects we will be posting each week. For further details about each project, please check out our individual blogs by clicking on the links provided.

See you next Friday when our Fab Friday feature will be the Delightful Decorations stamp set, matching ornament punch, Sparkle and Shine jumbo wheel and coordinating Merry & Bright rub-ons, hosted by Rachel Yurkanin.

Meet Debbie Naylor

My name is Debbie Naylor and I live in Lynchburg, Virginia. I am a Mom to 3 great kids – Amanda (11), Kelsey (10) and Brandon (7) – who are active in competitive year-round swimming which keeps us pretty busy. I have been married to my sweetheart Joe for 18 years and he is wonderfully supportive of my Stampin’ Up! business. I was able to thank him for that by taking him to Hawaii this past March courtesy of Stampin’ Up! – it was my first incentive trip and I look forward to many more with Stampin’ Up!
I have been a demonstrator since February 2005 and love my “job” earning extra income for my family while sharing what I love... stamping! I am proud to say I am the #43 Demonstrator of the Year and will be attending Founder’s Circle again in a few weeks. I offer classes, clubs and in-home workshops and love the fellowship with my customers, downline and fellow demonstrators. It is because of the wonderful Stampin’ Up! events like Founder’s Circle, Leadership and Convention that I met my fellow “Sisters” Karla, Jacque and Rachel. I look forward to actively contributing to this blog and being inspired by them!!
My favorite Stampin’ Up! stamp set is Cheep Talk – I love those little birdies! I’d have to say that Chocolate Chip is one of my favorite colors (I have many, including Gable Green, Bashful Blue and Rose Red).
I hope you come back each week for our Fab Friday projects and visit our individual blogs during the rest of the week to see what we’re doing with our customers – links to each can be found on the sidebar. Please become a follower, subscribe to our blog via Google Reader or just stop by each week. While here, please leave us a comment to let us know you were here and we’ll have blog candy soon!! Thanks!!!!

Meet Rachel Yurkanin

My name is Rachel Yuraknin and I live in northeast Pennsylvania in Jefferson Township (between Scranton and the Poconos) with my wonderful husband of almost 14 years, Donald, and our three children, Brittney, Noah & Jonah, who range in age from 19 down to 5 years old.

I joined the Stampin' Up! family in February 2001 strictly for the discount. A friend wanted to do a party a month after I signed on, I said, "Okay, why not! I need some big people time" and haven't turned back yet and it's 8 1/2 years later. I love the creative side of the business, but I don't only mean creating with the great Stampin' Up! products, I also mean how I am able to be creative with how I run my business. I get to do what works for me and my family. I have been blessed to be able to stay home and raise my children while building a business all my own on the side. Stampin' Up! has also given me the opportunity to travel and meet many wonderful people from around the country.

I have had the honor of being a "helper" at three different Stampin' Up! events and over the past 8 years have earned sales awards each year and recruiting awards two different years.  I also earned 2 of Stampin' Up! incentive trips, the most recent a trip to Hawaii.

I just keep saying, "Wow, and I only signed on for the discount." It's been a wonderful "ride" and I'm not ready to jump off anytime soon. Although my favorite stamp set changes often, currently my favorite Stampin’ Up! stamp set is the Medallion background stamp (simple but very elegant or fun depending on what you use) and my favorite color is certainly celery.

Meet Jacque Craig

My name is Jacque Craig and I live in the beautiful state of Hawaii. I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for almost eight years! I signed up originally to get the discount and help support my “habit”! One of my friends asked me to do a workshop for her! There were 10 gals there and I was really nervous, but we had a lot of fun and one of the guests asked me to do a workshop for her! The rest is history! I kept doing workshops and earned a cruise with Stampin’ Up! my first full year as a demonstrator! I’ve earned five cruises total and all just because I wanted to get a discount on my own stamping supplies!

Getting a discount on my supplies over the years has been great, as I’ve become even more active in stamping and scrapbooking, but meeting new people and making new friendships (like the wonderful gals I am doing this blog with), has been the biggest benefit for me since signing up with Stampin’ Up! I’ve met and made friends from all over the United States, gals that I would never have met without Stampin’ Up!

I love being able to have my own business, doing what I love, and making so many new friendships along the way. I hope to make many more new friends through this blog and through sharing my love of crafting.

My favorite stamp set right now is Fifth Avenue Floral. My favorite (or should I say most used) color is Chocolate Chip.
