Oh Ribbon, How I Love Thee!

This week, we are using ribbon on our projects because who doesn't love ribbon?  Each year, Stampin' Up! has such a wonderful assortment of ribbons - the colors, textures, and styles are so varied, it's hard not to buy them all up!  I have to say, we probably all have way more ribbon than we can use, but it's too great of an embellishment not to have!

Karla made this beautiful Christmas card.  Don't you love how she used the ribbon on this card?  I love it!  See what inspired her and get all of the details on her blog here.

Here is Cindy's card.  She used a variety of different ribbons.  Find out which ones on her blog here.

Debbie used the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle for her Christmas card.  Be sure to hop over to her blog post here to get more information about this project.

We have a set of cards from Jennifer this time.  Just a strip of this new burlap ribbon from the Holiday catalog adds a great rustic feel.  Stop by Jennifer's blog to learn more.

It's obvious that our designers have Christmas preparations on their minds! :)  We hope you loved seeing these great ribbon-focused projects as much as we had creating them for you.

Thanks for stopping by - have a fabulous weekend and happy stamping!!

CASE study: 2018 Holiday Catalog

Inspiration abounds in the new Holiday Catalog.  Our designers were asked to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) a project from the 2018 Holiday Catalog to show you the many ways to take one idea and make it your own.  Let's get to it!

First up we have the ever-so-talented guest designer, Cindy Blekas.  She pulled her inspiration from the Santa bags featured on pages 18 and 20 to create this fun candy-cane gift bag.  Wouldn't you love to get a little gift packaged like this one?  Take a ride over to Cindy's blog here for all the details.

Debbie Naylor was so inspired by page 28 of the catalog that she created TWO cards!  These are great examples of ways to feature our beautiful Designer Series Papers.  Hop over to her blog here to learn more.

Karla Anders' card was CASE'd from the So Santa card on page 23 of the Holiday Catalog.  These Santa images are so adorable!  I love seeing Santa get out of his classic suite like the rest of us.  Be sure to visit Karla's blog here to learn more.

Our next project was created by Jennifer Rawlings.  She was inspired by the projects featured on page 42 but changed up the theme from country comfort to Christmas.  Check out her blog here to see how this project came together.

Thank you for joining us today.  We hope you too are inspired by our projects and those featured in the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  If you do not yet have a copy of this catalog, be sure to contact your SU! Independent Demonstrator or any one of us for help.

Have a lovely weekend and we'll see you back here soon!
