Meet Karla Anders

My name is Karla Anders and I am in Madison, Wisconsin. I am a SAHM and full time Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since April 2001. My WOW demonstration from the April 2009 Minneapolis Regional is featured on the SU! 2008-09 WOW DVD. I was also the winner of the August 2008 Wow Art File for a pair of earrings I made with Designer Paper, the Pretties Kit and build-a-brads. Three of my cards have been published in the Stampin' Success Magazine under Honorable Mention. I have been married to my husband Paul for 15 years. He graduated in May 2009 with his PhD in Philosophy of Religion and Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an Adjunct Professor at Edgewood College teaching Philosophy 100's classes. We purchased a "fixer-upper" - a 1953 Ranch - in July of 2003, I'm happy to report that we are very close to a completed remodel of the entire home. I worked for Continental Airlines for 15 years and retired when I found out I was pregnant with my son, Teddy. My current favorite Stampin’ Up! stamp set is Build-a-Roo and Real Red is my favorite color.

Welcome to our blog!!

Hello and welcome to our blog! We are Sisters in Stamping... a friendship spanning across these great United States and formed from our love of all things Stampin' Up! We are all demonstrators who met at various Stampin' Up! events and decided at our national Convention earlier this month that we would start a group blog. We were all together for dinner one night in beautiful Salt Lake City and we are in the photo above: Karla Anders (Wisconsin), Jacque Craig (Hawaii), Debbie Naylor (Virginia) and Rachel Yurkanin (Pennsylvania).

Our goal is to bring you fun and fabulous ideas with different featured Stampin' Up! products every Friday on Fab Friday. Since we come from a variety of backgrounds and all have different stamping styles, it should be a great source of inspiration for us all and we are really excited about officially getting started next week. We have mapped out our product selections to highlight each week for the next several months and will be featuring Holiday Mini catalog items all during September when you are able to purchase these wonderful goodies! If you don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator, please contact one of us directly on our individual blogs and we'll be happy to assist you with your order!!

Over the next couple of days we'll be posting our bios so you can get to know us a little better. I hope you come back and visit often, especially on our Fab Fridays!!!
