Next up is Rachel, her card uses four different SAB items, paper, embossing folder and two different stamp sets,  which is so cute. Here is her blog so you can go see for yourself.

Lastly, here is my (Karla's) project for this week. I used the 3 SAB items on my card, I posted the names and have more pictures close up on my blog here .

OK that's it for us this week and we will be taking next Friday off to spend some time with our families. Have a great Christmas and we will see you next year!

Seasonal designer paper from the Holiday Catalog makes paper crafting a breeze!

Happy Friday and thanks for visiting us this week!  Have you seen the gorgeous Designer Paper offerings in the Holiday catalog?  The color combinations are phenomenal and the patterns are so on trend.  Paper crafting with these coordinated paper packs from Stampin' Up! takes the guess work out of matching up papers.  I love looking to the fun color combinations that the Stampin' Up! designers have put together in our designer paper packs when trying to find inspiration in my projects.  This week we are featuring the Designer Papers from the Holiday Catalog in our projects - there are four to choose from:  Sweater Weather (perfect for fall projects), Witches Brew (did you make any Halloween projects with these?), Season of Style (Christmas designs with traditional colors but a whimsical style) and Winter Frost Specialty (gorgeous color palette and designs that are perfect for all your winter projects).  And did you know that the Season of Style and Winter Frost patterns are offered in a stack of 48 sheets that are sized at 6-1/4" x 4-1/4", perfect for card makers and for use with the Big Shot!  So let's see what everyone created this week...

First up is Rachel with her very merry Santa card.  Anyone is sure to be happy when they receive this card. Be sure to check out Rachel's blog to see how she created this card.

Here is Karla's project for this week, she used the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Stack to dress up her little box. Visit her blog to get a tutorial and see more pictures.

Next are these two fabulous projects that our Guest Designer Cindy Blekas (who happens to be my very talented sister) made.  She used the Season of Style designer paper pack to create the Shadow Box (top) and bulletin board.  Hop over to this blog post to see a bonus project and find out what the bulletin board is made from!

And here is my contribution for this week...I created a snowflake ornament using the Festive Flurry framelits dies and the gorgeous Winter Frost specialty designer paper pack.  I just love the cool color combination of Pool Party (one of my favorite colors) and how it pairs with Smoky Slate!  Boy, was this hard to photograph!  You'll find more information about how I put this together if you hop over to my blog post here.

Thanks so much for visiting today to check out our Fabulous DSP projects!  We hope we have inspired you to purchase a pack from the Holiday catalog.  Have a wonderful weekend!!

Ready to Get Framed?

Hello and Welcome to the Sisters in Stamping blog. We are ready to think outside the card. This week we are ready to share some framed stamped art with you. Framed art is a great gift idea, especially for those that have everything. It's personal, it's made with love, and it's sure to be treasured for a long time to come.

First up we have Karla's framed art. She even took it a step further with thinking outside the card and used something unique for her advent calendar. She didn't use the traditional frame. Head over to her blog for all the details.

Next, we have Debbie's framed art. She made an adorable name frame that is all ready to just add a picture of baby. Her punch art certainly adds a lot of "punch" to the finished look. Jump over to Debbie's blog for all the details.

And finally, we have Rachel's framed art.  She used a small picture frame to make a personal gift that would be a nice addition to any desk. Want more details? Skip on over to Rachel's blog for all the details.

"F" is for Fabulous Friday Fall-themed projects!!

"Happy Fall!" and thanks for visiting us this week as we share our Fabulous Friday Fall-themed projects.  This is one of my favorite times of the year...the leaves are beginning to turn shades of crushed curry, cajun craze and cherry cobbler and there's a crisp coolness in the air as summer and it's memories begin to fade.  It's a time to pull out warm comfy sweaters, sip hot apple cider and jump in a big pile of leaves.  What are your favorite things about fall?  Let's see how this season inspired our projects this week...

First up is this great Fall card is from Rachel Yurkanin.  Please be sure and visit her blog to get more information about the two different techniques she used on this card.

And next we have Karla Anders' fabulous Fall project. She used the new Burlap Ribbon to make roses for her wreath. Hop on over to her blog to get all the details.

Last up is my Fall scrapbook page that I created with the My Digital Studio digital design software.  We live very close to the beautiful Blue Ridge parkway in Central Virginia and these photos are from a family hike and picnic last weekend.  For more information about my project please check out my blog here.

Thanks so much for stopping by - we hope you have a fabulous weekend!  Be sure to come back again next week when we showcase the fun new Stampin' Up! Designer Washi tape assortments.

Clearly it's all about Stamps

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday challenge here at the Sisters in Stamping blog. We are so glad you joined us this week and know you will be inspired by some great cards using the completely clear, Photopolymer stamp sets that are now being offered by Stampin' Up! If you haven't tried these yet, what are you waiting for?  They are great to stamp with, have great images, and you can see where you stamp.  Ask your demonstrator to show you these sets because you will want to get some for your own stamp collection.

The above file folder card was made by Debbie Naylor. She used the Another Thank You Photopolymer Set. Want to know how she made the file folder? Head over to her blog for details.

Our next card was made Karla Anders. She used the Designer Typeset Photopolymer Set which has lots of arrows. Did you know arrows are a hot trend right now? More information can be found on Karla's blog.

And the final card was made by Rachel Yurkanin. She used the Settin' Sail Photopolymer Set that is great for masculine cards. Want to know how she made it? Head over to her blog for complete details.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have been "clearly" inspired with our cards.

Fabulous Masculine Cards

Hello! The Sisters are showcasing Masculine cards this week for our weekly Fabulous Friday post. "Guy Themed" cards are by far the hardest to design-- I hear that comment quite frequently from my stampers! The Sisters are here to help, here are our cards--

This is my (Karla) card for this week. I used a new set for me called The Open Sea...it was in a Mini Catalog a couple of years ago, so happy that I finally gotten around to purchasing it! Here is a link to my blog where I posted a pointer on how to get those cool clouds in the background behind the ship.

Up next is Rachel. Her card uses the new, wildly popular set called Gorgeous Grunge. You are going to be seeing a lot of cards made with that set, it's so versatile. Check out her blog for all of the details.

Thank-you for coming by today...hope you can make it back for next weeks post! Until then Happy September--
