Simply Scrappin' Friday

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday and Happy Memorial Day Weekend. This week here at Sisters in Stamping we are focusing on using the great Simply Scrappin' Kits that Stampin' Up! carries.  They are great to make nice, quick cards or scrapbook pages with ease.  The kits include some textured cardstock, a couple sheets of Designer Series Paper, and many, many self-adhesive die cuts that are repositionable for up to 24 hours.

This first creation is brought to us by Debbie Naylor. She used the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit to make this cheerful little altered folder mini scrapbook album.  Hop on over to Debbie's blog for more information on this project.

The next card has been created by our own Jacque Craig. Jacque used the Petal Party Simply Scrappin' Kit to make this great Thank you card.  Check out Jacque's blog for more information to recreate this card yourself.

Our very own Karla Anders created this next project.  She did some fancy folding to create a double pocket card using the Petal Party Simply Scrappin' Kit. Check out Karla's blog for more information.

And the final project was created by me, Rachel Yurkanin. I made a 12x12 scrapbook page using the Sunny Day kit.  Be sure to go over to my blog for more information.

Thanks for stopping by again.  Join us next week when we will be focusing on Father's Day or masculine cards.

April Showers bring Fabulous May Flowers!!!

Welcome to a new week on Sisters in Stamping - this week we are focusing on May flowers.  Don't you just love Spring?  Everything is turning green and the flowers are all in bloom!  Are you ready to be inspired with some fabulous projects featuring flowers?

First up is this card by Jacque Craig.  She used the new Punched Posies hostess level 2 stamp set from the Summer Mini catalog.  I love that these flowers coordinate with our XL flower punch so there's no need to pull out the paper snips to cut them each out - how great is that?!  Please visit Jacque's blog to get all the details!

And here we have a pretty Spring project using Designer Series Paper, chipboard and crystal effects from Rachel Yurkanin.  Great pick me ups  and organizations tools for any desk. Please visit Rachel's blog to read all about it.

Next is this creation by Karla Anders.  Karla used Petal Pizzazz to make this cute card and ribbon pin. You can visit Karla's blog to get additional information.

This last project is mine.  I wanted to create a scrapbook page in honor of National Scrapbooking month.  I just love May flowers and this page features one of my new favorite stamp sets - Watercolor Trio from the Summer Mini catalog.  Please visit my blog here to see how I created this page.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Please be sure and visit each individual blog to get all the details to recreate these projects.  We hope you found some inspiration here today and that you get an opportunity to stamp some May flowers of your own this weekend!  Until next time, happy stamping!

National Scrapbooking Month Promotion!

As you probably already know, May is National Scrapbooking Month and Stampin' Up! has a promotion available to help us to celebrate!  During National Scrapbooking Month, get a free package of Designer brads with the purchase of My Digital Studio or any of a specific list of stamp sets (check with your demonstrator if you don't have the list).

For this week, we decided to focus on the stamp sets that when purchase earn you that free package of brads!  Hope you get some inspiration!

Debbie used the Elements of Style stamp set and created this beautiful scrapbook page.  Check out Debbie's blog for details.

Karla created this pretty gift bag and also used the Elements of Style stamp set.  Check out Karla's blog to see how she made it!

Rachel kept with the spirit of the month and also created a scrapbook page.  Rachel used the Extreme Elements stamp set to create this great "boy" page!  Check out Rachel's blog for more.

I also used the Elements of Style stamp set, which is one of my favorites from the new Summer Mini Catalog.  Check out my blog for a list of the supplies used.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit us here at Sisters in Stamping!  Have a great weekend and see you next Friday when we'll be doing projects focusing on May flowers!  Debbie, Jacque, Karla, and Rachel
