Celebrating Navy Day

Due to some technical difficulties we are a little late posting - sorry for the delay!

Hello and thank you so much for visiting us!  Did you know that October 27th is Navy Day?  It is a day to salute all the women and men who have served, both past and present, in the United States Navy.  In honor of this day, I asked the designers to create projects featuring Night of Navy.

First up is guest designer Cindy Blekas with this beautiful all-occasion card featuring the Detailed Floral thinlits from the Annual catalog.  It would be perfect for a wedding or birthday.  Please visit her blog post here for more information about this project.

Next up we have this gorgeous card from Jennifer Rawlings featuring the foil snowflakes from the Holiday catalog.  Please be sure to check out her blog to get all the details.

Karla designed this fabulous Christmas card featuring the Musical Season bundle from the Holiday catalog.  You can find more information about this card on her blog post here.

And here is my card featuring the Bold Butterfly thinlits.  It's CASE'd from a card in the Annual catalog - can you figure out which one?  Please hop over to my blog post here to get the answer.

Thank you for checking out our Navy projects - we hope we have inspired you to stamp this weekend!

Fun, Unique Folds with the Sisters

Hello,

Welcome to another great week with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are sharing with you some fun, unique folds cards. Check them out, you're going to love them. Everyone loves a hand stamped card but imagine their surprise when it's a little more interactive than just a simple fold in the middle card.

This first card is made by Jennifer Rawlings. The metallic paper makes this card just pop. Check out Jennifer's blog to see just what this fun fold is.

This "boo" card is made by Debbie Naylor. Imagine changing the greeting and using this card for so many other occasions. Hop on over to her blog for all the details.

And finally we have a fun, unique fold from Rachel Yurkanin that looks way more difficult to make than it really is. Check out her blog for more details.

Mad Hatter Day

National Mad Hatter Day October 6

October 6 is a day set aside each year to bring out your silly side, so it only seemed appropriate to take this moment and get a little silly with our projects today.

Believe it or not, even silly cards are challenging!  Let's see what our designers created.

Debbie is up first with her card with a silly face.  Can you figure out what stamp set she used?  Hop over to her blog here to get all the details.

Next is Jennifer's UN-birthday card.  Very Mad Hatter-esk, don't you think?  Learn more about this card and her Cheshire cat by visiting Jennifer's blog here.

Thanks so much for stopping in and checking out our silly post.  We look forward to your visit again next week, and feel free to bring a friend too!
