We're Growing Up!

Have you ever noticed that there are different sections of the catalog?  If you're a demonstrator, you probably have, but if you're a Stampin' Up! customer, you might not have.  Last week here on Sisters in Stamping, we each picked a set to showcase from the Occasions section of the catalog.  This week we're showcasing a set from the Growing Up section of the catalog.

Debbie Naylor chose to feature the "Best Friends Forever" stamp set found on page 90 for her 12 x 12 scrapbook page this week.

You can see the inspiration piece for her project as well as all the details by visiting her blog here.

Rachel also used the Best Friends Forever stamp set but on a card.  Don't you just love when we use the same set in a different way? Just more ideas for you.

For complete details on how she made this fun card, check out Rachel's blog.

I've been making a lot of baby cards lately as several of my friends are soon to have babies, so this week was no different.  I used the "Baby Bundle" set found on page 84 of the catalog.

Check out my blog (Jacque) for more details!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Make sure to come visit again next Friday when we'll be showcasing sets from the All Natural section of the catalog!

Have a fabulous weekend!

What Occasion Do You Have Coming Up?

Do you have a special occasion right around the corner?  We have some of the cutest and nicest sets to show you this week from the Occasions section of the AWESOME new Idea Book & Catalog.  There are so many special occasions we all celebrate and Stampin' Up! has us covered when we need to papercraft the perfect card, gift or scrapbook page.

We have all used different sets this week.  I'm more than sure one or two of them will inspire you to create your own special occasion card.

The above card was created by Debbie Naylor.  She used the Love & Sympathy set from the Occasions section.  These are usually cards we all need but never like to create.  For more information, head over to Debbie's blog.

Next up we have Jacque Craig's cute little baby card using the Easy Events set.  Isn't that little duck paired up with the polka dot Designer Series Paper just darling?  Want more info?  Jump over to Jacque's blog for all the details to recreate this beauty.

Here is Karla Anders' card for this week. She used the new set called It's a Wrap Occasions. The set has a special design to it, you'll have to go to Karla's blog (http://stampinwithk.blogspot.com) to get the low down.

Then we have Rachel Yurkanin's birthday card using the Patterned party set. We all know someone who has a birthday, right?  It's such a fun set and the card shows the 2011-2012 In-Colors.  Be sure to visit Rachel's blog for more information.

Thanks for stopping by this week. Come back next week when we showcase the Growing Up section of the catalog.

Woo Hoo It's July 1st!!

Okay, I hope I'm not the only crazy person that just couldn't wait for July 1st to arrive so I could place my order from the brand-spankin' new Stampin' Up!  Idea Book & Catalog!!  I don't know what I would have done if we hadn't (as demonstrators), been able to pre-order some of the new goodies before today!!  One of the items that we were able to preorder is the new Lacy Ribbon Border punch!  My stamping sisters and I have a few samples showing different ways you can use this new punch to share with you today.

First up is this beautiful scrap book page created by Debbie.  Have you all noticed what a fabulous scrapbooker Debbie is!  I love how she created a scrapbook page border decoration with the Lacy Ribbon Border punch, and how she paired it up with the new Triple Layer punch from the Summer Mini Catalog!  Check out Debbie's blog for more details!

I used the new punch as a snowflake border on my winter card.  I know it's a little early to be thinking about snow, but we were also able to pre-order this cute stamp set, Snow Much Fun, and I really wanted to use them together.  Check out my blog (Jacque) for a close up of the card and a list of supplies that I used.

Rachel used the new punch as a border to coordinate with the new Delicate Doilies stamp set.  She used a  fun fold on her card.  Check out her blog for more information about her pretty card.

Karla used the new punch as an inset. Check out her blog: http://stampinwithk.blogspot.com

We hope you enjoy the new catalog and have a great weekend!!
