Background stamps are great for adding that little something that may be missing from your card, especially if you do not want to add another layer of cardstock that may make your card just a bit too bulky.

Did you know that Valentine Cards were originally handmade? The tradition of giving cards started in the 1700's, it wasn't until 200 years later that cards started being mass produced. Well, you know how we feel about that here at the Sisters in Stamping-- No mass produced cards for us!
