Fun and fabulous techniques featuring stampin' ink refills

Happy Friday and welcome back for another edition of Fabulous Friday here on the Sisters in Stamping blog!  This week we are featuring techniques that utilize stampin' ink refills.  These little bottles are great to keep on hand for re-inking your ink pads but did you know that they are useful for many stampin' techniques as well?!  And at $2.95 each they are a bargain!  Get them with free shipping this weekend only April 6-8... contact your demonstrator to place your order.

First up we have this beautiful card designed by Rachel Yurkanin.  She used the Acetate Smoosh technique to create the fabulous backdrop for her trees from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set - please hop on over to her blog here to get all the details on her project.

Next we have this fabulous card created by Karla Anders.  She used the Reverse Reinker Spread technique for her project and you can find all the information about it on her blog post here.

I invited my team member Jennifer Rawlings to be a guest designer with us this week and she created this stunning card featuring three different techniques using ink refills.  Check out the blog post here for all the information about her card.

I, like Rachel, chose the Acetate Smoosh technique for my project this week.  You will find a step-by-step tutorial on my blog post here for this card and technique featuring the Swallowtail stamp set from the Spring catalog.

Thanks so much for visiting us today!  We hope you found some inspiration and will pull out your stampin' ink refills to try one or more of these techniques!  And if you don't have any ink refills we hope we've given you some reasons to purchase some.  Have a wonderful weekend!!
