A Parade of Ribbon

Hello and welcome to another Fabulous Friday post! We are showcasing ribbon this week, it's an inexpensive addition to any project. The best thing about Stampin' Up!'s ribbons is that they are all color coordinated to their inks and paper.

You really see that with Debbie's card, her 1 1/4" Bermuda Bay Striped Grosgrain Ribbon matches perfectly with the rest of her card. Click here for directions on creating her card.

Rachel's project uses 3/8" Basic Black Ribbon for the handles on her cute little gift bag. She used another ribbon on her bag-- can you spot it? Here is a link to her blog.

Lastly, here is Karla's project. She used the new InColor ribbon 1" Delightful Dijon Dotted Lace Trim. You can go to her blog to take a look at it close up.

Thank-you for dropping by today and checking us out and, have a happy Friday!

What's New Mr. Big Shot?

Hello,

We are so glad you have decided to stop by and visit us today. We are sharing some great projects using some of the new big shot items that are in this year's catalog. We all love Mr. Big Shot, don't we?  He makes creating so much more fun and a whole lot easier.

First up we have Debbie's adorable Christmas box that looks like a chimney with a hanging wreath. A great project for Christmas in July. Check out her blog for more information.

Next up, we have a great thank you card that uses an alphabet for the greeting with of course, some texturing of the background using Mr. Big Shot. Head over to her blog for more details.

Thanks for stopping by to see us.

Some New In Colors

One of the best things of the new catalog is the new in colors. There's always a lot of anticipation while waiting to see them unveiled.  The colors this year are yummy sounding. See below on the bookmark, they will be listed in name order.

First up, is Debbie's card that uses several of the colors. A very pretty card to let someone know you are thinking about them. Check out her blog here for more information.

This is Karla's card that she created for the InColor challenge. Here is a link to her blog to help you create one of your own.

The next card is made by Rachel and it uses two of the new in colors. This card is great to make a set of notecards for a teacher. Start working on them now so you are ready with back to school gifts.

Here's a bookmark Rachel made that uses all of the new in-colors. The "h" is cucumber crush, the "e" is delightful dijon, the first "l" is watermelon wonder, the second "l" is tip top taupe, and the "o" is mint macaron.

Enjoy creating with the new colors. You're going to love mixing them with all of the other great colors we have.

Thanks for stopping by,

Father's Day is coming soon... need some masculine card inspiration?

* we apologize for the delay in posting this! *

Happy Friday and thanks so much for visiting us here today!  This week for our Fabulous Friday projects we are focusing on Father's Day cards since it is coming up on Sunday, June 21st.  Masculine cards always seem to be the harder ones to make since you can't add fun bling with rhinestones or glitter.  Let's see how we can inspire you with our projects this week...

First up is this great 3D card designed by Karla.  You can get all the details about her card by visiting today's post.  The faux alligator effect is really great for a masculine card!

And here is my creation for this week... I chose to use the Guy Greetings stamp set that carried over from the Occasions catalog.  Please hop over to my blog post here to get more information about my card.

Thanks so much for visiting us today - we hope we have inspired you to go out and stamp a Father's Day card!!  Have a fabulous weekend - check back next week when we share projects featuring the new In Colors...
