Fabulous Friday from Leadership in Nashville, TN!!!!

Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee!!  We are here for a Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference... unfortunately, Karla Anders experienced a travel nightmare due to the severe weather across the country and was unable to join us.  Karla - we miss you!!!!!

This week we decided to share with you the cards we made to swap with others here at the Conference.  First up is Jacque's card - she featured the Bold Blossom stamp from the Occasions Mini catalog.  Isn't it a fun card?  Please be sure and visit her blog to get all the details.

Rachel designed this beautiful card featuring the Build a Blossom stamp set and coordinating Blossom Petals XL punch for her card.  Be sure and check out Rachel's blog for full details!!

Last up is my card - I chose the Thanks for Caring stamp set to design my sympathy card.  Please visit my blog for all the information.

Because Karla was unable to join us, I don't have a picture of her card.  Hopefully she will add it to this posting.  As always, thanks so much for visiting with us - we hope to incorporate many of the great ideas we are learning here in the coming months!!

Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a fun and safe New Year's celebration!  We here at Sisters In Stamping are ready to get the new year started and thank you for stopping by to see our creations!  This week we are focusing on Valentines Day cards!

According to Hallmark.com, for greeting cards, Valentine's Day is the second most important card-giving holiday, next to Christmas, with about 188 million valentines given worldwide. Their site also reveals that more than half of the United States population celebrates Valentine's Day by purchasing a greeting card.

But none of us BUY greeting cards, do we?!??!  No way, we make them ourselves!!  So here are a few ideas to inspire you!!

Karla made this card and you'll want to check her blog to see the inside of this special Valentine!

Here's Debbie's card with a little note that you can write a special message on a slide back into the card.  Or put a picture of the kids on it and send to the grandparents!!  Check out Debbie's blog for more!

And here is my card, that I'll be sending out to the special people in my life this year!  You can check my blog for the list of supplies that I used to make this card!

Here is Rachel's card.  She used the Love Impressions Rub-on's to make her Valentine.  Check out her blog for more information.

Again, Happy New Year, thanks for stopping by and please be sure to stop by next Friday when we will be showcasing projects using fabric!  Jacque, Debbie, Karla and Rachel
